KINGSPORT, Tenn. — Premier Transportation celebrated the opening of its new Tri-Cities facility with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at its Kingsport location, expanding the company’s motorcoach operations in Northeast Tennessee.
The new facility provides additional space for motorcoach operations, maintenance, employee support and future growth, strengthening Premier’s ability to serve customers across Northeast Tennessee, Southwest Virginia and surrounding areas.

The event brought together company employees, local officials, chamber representatives, business partners and community members. Representatives from the Kingsport, Bristol and Johnson City chambers joined Kingsport Mayor Paul Montgomery and Vice Mayor Darrell Duncan for the celebration.

Guests toured the facility, viewed Premier’s motorcoaches and heard remarks from company and community leaders. Premier also recognized Preston Construction for its work on the project.
“We are excited to officially celebrate Premier Transportation’s new Tri-Cities location and the opportunities this facility creates for our team, our customers and the communities we serve,” General Manager Taylor Thomas said. “This expansion represents our continued commitment to providing safe, reliable and professional transportation throughout the region.”

Premier Transportation provides charter motorcoach service for schools, athletic teams, corporate groups, tours and special events. The company now operates locations in Knoxville, Chattanooga and Kingsport and is a member of the International Motorcoach Group.
