Kelly Tours expands services with a new facility in North Georgia

Kelly Tours is planning a grand opening of its newest location in North Georgia on June 13. The open house will run from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and begin with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 11 a.m., followed by tours of the new facility.

The location in Lula, Georgia, at 4336 Cornelia Highway, expands the company’s services to the North Georgia region.

Launched in 1996 to specialize in youth educational travel, Kelly Tours offers transportation and group travel services for students and adults. It owns and operates a fleet of over 50 vehicles, including 36 luxury motorcoach vehicles and historic trolleys that are used for tours of downtown Savannah, Hilton Head Island, and the Rose Hill Mansion & Plantation.

“From one-day bus charters to multiday bus charters, we have the transportation experience and know-how to deliver a quality motorcoach charter experience every time,” said Jenna Scott, Kelly Tour’s Director of Marketing.

The North Georgia office is the travel provider for the University of Georgia Redcoat Band and all the sports teams at Piedmont University, Truett McConnell University, Young Harris College and the University of North Georgia. It provides travel for churches, schools and businesses, with such popular destinations as Washington, Atlanta, New York City, Boston and Florida.

Kelly Tours works closely with teachers and administrators to tailor itineraries to complement school curriculum, building lasting relationships with teachers and group leaders to run successful trips year after year. The company also specializes in group and senior travel, with day trips to see Broadway shows as well as overnight trips to Alaska and even Australia.

Kelly Tours has six office locations: Savannah, Macon, North Georgia, North Florida, Charleston, and Beaufort.
