HOUSTON — Overland Charters is expanding its Texas operations with the acquisition of a motorcoach facility in Houston, giving the company a new base for fleet operations and maintenance in one of the nation’s largest transportation markets.
The company said the location will serve as a strategic operations center for its growing presence in Texas.
The Houston property includes multiple service bays, dedicated maintenance space with mechanics on staff, a full wash bay, a dump station, and extensive motorcoach parking. The facility also offers highway access and space to support fleet growth.

“This purchase represents an exciting new chapter for our company. Houston is a key transportation market, and this facility provides the foundation necessary to deliver the exceptional service our customers expect while supporting our continued growth throughout Texas and beyond,” owner Kelly Fankhauser said.
The acquisition adds Houston to Overland Charters’ network of facilities in Dallas-Fort Worth; Oklahoma City and Tulsa, Oklahoma; Wichita, Kansas; and the Springfield-Branson area of Missouri.
The expanded footprint gives Overland Charters six operational markets across four states and strengthens the company’s ability to provide motorcoach transportation throughout Texas, the south-central United States and the Midwest.
Overland Charters operates a fleet of luxury motorcoaches and provides group transportation services.
