NEW BRITAIN, Conn. — DATTCO Inc. has unveiled a newly designed motorcoach commemorating the nation’s upcoming 250th anniversary, a milestone the company says it aims to celebrate through travel and community connections.
The Freedom 250th Coach, a 52-passenger bus wrapped in patriotic graphics, will be used for group tours and charter services across the United States.
Company President Don DeVivo said the vehicle reflects the organization’s focus on connecting people and communities.
“DATTCO has always been about connecting people – our customers, our employees and the communities that we serve,” DeVivo said. “This coach is a tribute to them and a way for us to celebrate that connection.
“DATTCO employees take pride in what they do, and our customers trust us to be part of their experiences. There is a sense of pride in participating in the 250th anniversary of our country. Every trip this bus makes becomes part of that celebration.”

Chief Operating Officer Kyle DeVivo called the coach a symbol of the national milestone.
“This coach isn’t just a vehicle—it’s a moving billboard for America’s 250th. Wherever it goes, the Freedom 250th Coach will inspire excitement and patriotism, making every journey a part of the larger national celebration,” he said.
The company said the coach will travel nationwide as part of charter and tour operations, with each trip intended to contribute to the anniversary observance.
The company said groups and organizations can book the Freedom 250th Coach for tours and events through its charter services division.
Founded in 1924, DATTCO provides motorcoach, school bus, and transit services throughout the Northeast. The family-owned company is based in New Britain and is among the largest privately held transportation providers in New England.
