Prevost expands service center hours to reduce coach downtime

STE-CLAIRE, Quebec — Prevost has expanded service hours at select service center locations as part of an effort to reduce vehicle downtime and provide motorcoach operators with greater flexibility when scheduling maintenance and repairs.

The company announced July 28 that the extended hours are designed to help service centers better manage customer demand while returning coaches to service more quickly.

“Our customers depend on timely maintenance and repairs to keep operations moving,” said Wolfgang Robert, senior director of Prevost’s service network. “By expanding our hours, we’re making it easier for them to get the support they need while reducing downtime.”

Prevost said the expanded schedules will give customers more options when planning service visits and allow the company to respond more effectively to maintenance demand.

The extended hours are part of a broader expansion of Prevost’s service network.

Earlier this year, the company’s Goodlettsville, Tennessee, service center added six service bays, three offices and 32 parking spaces. Prevost also deployed two additional mobile service units in the Las Vegas area.

Later this summer, the company’s Chicagoland branch is scheduled to open a new service location in Elk Grove Village, Illinois. In North Carolina, Prevost is currently operating a temporary service site in High Point until its permanent facility in Randleman opens in early 2027.

Prevost encouraged customers to check its website for the latest service center hours and contact information, or contact their local branch directly for assistance.
