CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Adventure Tours, an East Coast charter bus company, has acquired select intangible assets of Sterling Worldwide Limousine & Sterling Charters, expanding its presence in the Charlotte market.
The deal includes the Sterling brand, customer relationships, client reservations and related goodwill, according to Adventure Tours. The transaction does not include the Sterling corporate entity, physical assets, or any past or future liabilities.
Sterling Worldwide Limo & Sterling Charters is a Charlotte-based luxury transportation provider offering black car, minibus and motorcoach services.
Adventure Tours said the acquisition will help expand its customer base in Charlotte and surrounding areas while adding service capacity and technology for existing Sterling clients. Customers included in the transaction are expected to transition to Adventure Tours’ services without disruption.

Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Adventure Tours is headquartered in Accokeek, Maryland, and has provided charter transportation services along the East Coast for more than 25 years. The company focuses on safety, technology integration and customer service.
