3 reasons to make plans for next year’s UMA EXPO in Long Beach

The United Motorcoach Association announced that the 2022 UMA Motorcoach EXPO will be in Long Beach, California, on Feb. 23-27, 2022. There are three major reasons not to miss this next North American gathering for the industry.

Savings for early birds. Those who sign up by May 15 qualify for the preregistration rate of $295 per person — the lowest rate available. This includes five days of activities and numerous meals. Sign up here by May 15 to get the lowest rate.

A big and better show. After a successful 2021 EXPO, more vendors have committed to the 2022 EXPO, which will be held at the Long Beach Convention and Entertainment Center. UMA Board Member Scott Riccio, who chaired the 2021 EXPO Committee, is at the helm for next year’s gathering. What surveys attendees filled out from the recent EXPO will be a guide in designing next year’s experience, he said.

A warm welcome. The California Bus Association (CBA) plans to roll out the red carpet. “As California operators’ businesses slowly begin seeing activity getting underway again, we welcome the opportunity to showcase our beautiful state. And we are happy to be a part of the additional business that an event like UMA EXPO brings to the area,” said CBA Executive Director Vicki Bowman.

There’s a lot to do in this Southern California beach community, from strolling the Downtown Waterfront district to checking out the Aquarium of the Pacific or taking a cruise out of Rainbow Harbor. Average temperatures in Long Beach during February hover in the 70s.
