BETHLEHEM, Pa. — Angel Solano has spent more than a quarter-century as a mechanic at Trans-Bridge Lines, a tenure he says has been shaped by supportive colleagues and leadership.
The company recently recognized Solano with its Silver Service Award, which marks 25 years of service. As part of the honor, a motorcoach is named for the recipient, with decals placed inside and outside the vehicle. Solano selected Bus 485, one of the company’s newest coaches.

Solano joined Trans-Bridge Lines in 1999. He lives with his wife, Virginia, and they have three grown children. He is also a fan of quarter-mile car racing.

Reflecting on his career, Solano credited the people around him for keeping him motivated.
“My manager, Jerry Featherman, is fair and a good guy to work for,” he said, adding that company owners Tom and Jim JeBran are “first-rate leaders who make coming to work each day a pleasure.”
