BETHLEHEM, Pa. — Trans-Bridge Lines is expanding its service to Newark Liberty International Airport with two additional runs and resuming service to the Cape Liberty Cruise Port in Bayonne, New Jersey.
The Bethlehem-based motorcoach company said the changes, effective Sept. 8, respond to customer demand following United Airlines’ decision to end its Landline bus service between Lehigh Valley International Airport and Newark.

“Listening to the needs of our passengers has always been at the heart of our operations,” said company President Tom JeBran. “With the need for reliable airport transportation and requests for service to Cape Liberty Cruise Port, we are proud to step in and provide these options.”
The added Newark trips are aimed at giving Lehigh Valley travelers continued access to one of the region’s busiest airports. Service to Cape Liberty, which was suspended in recent years, is returning after what the company said were numerous customer requests from cruise passengers.
Schedules and ticket information are available at www.transbridgelines.com. Newark airport tickets may be purchased online, while reservations for Cape Liberty must be made through the customer service department at 610-868-6001.
Founded in 1941, Trans-Bridge Lines operates daily service to New York City and Newark Airport from the Lehigh Valley and Clinton, New Jersey, with weekday service to Wall Street. The company also runs daily transportation to the Manhattan Cruise Terminal and Wind Creek Bethlehem Casino, and offers charter trips.
