Busie, TDS launch nationwide direct charter booking platform on Bustickets.com

KINGSTON, N.Y., and JACKSONVILLE, Fla.  — Busie and Transcor Data Services (TDS) have announced a strategic partnership designed to modernize charter bus bookings on Bustickets.com and give operators a direct, technology-driven way to connect with group travel customers across North America.

The partnership will integrate Busie’s all-in-one charter sales, operations, and dispatch platform into Bustickets.com, which is owned and operated by TDS. The move combines Bustickets.com’s established group travel demand with Busie’s end-to-end technology for quoting, booking, dispatch and payments.

“Busie and TDS are partnering to essentially enable Bustickets.com to connect charter bus operators and potential charter bus customers directly building on the strong foundation that Bustickets.com has today,” said Louis Bookoff, co-founder and CEO of Busie. “Historically, there are a lot of brokers inserting themselves between charter bus companies and end customers. This flips that model on its head.”

Through the new integration, charter bus operators will receive trip requests directly, manage the full booking cycle, control pricing and branding, and retain long-term customer relationships.

“This enables charter bus companies to receive prospective clients directly, move them through an entire booking process, control their brand, pricing and every aspect of the experience — and ultimately retain that customer downstream,” Bookoff said.

Modernizing the process

The charter bus industry has long been hampered by fragmented systems, manual workflows and disconnected demand sources. The Busie–TDS partnership aims to address those challenges by pairing Bustickets.com’s marketplace reach with Busie’s modern charter technology.

“Our shared goal is to make charter bus bookings work better for customers, operators and partners,” Bookoff said. “By combining real demand with modern sales and operational software, we are improving how charter trips are sourced and executed across North America. This partnership does not introduce a broker or middleman.”

TDS will integrate Busie’s all-in-one charter sales, operations and dispatch platform into Bustickets.com.

Instead, operators remain in control of pricing, customer relationships and operational decisions. There are no monthly subscription fees to participate; operators pay booking fees only when trips are successfully booked and may choose to pass those costs on to customers.

“It’s an easy way for operators to engage, receive demand and directly connect with customers,” Bookoff said.

TDS, which is best known for its scheduled and line-run ticketing technology in the intercity bus sector, brings decades of industry infrastructure and carrier connectivity to the partnership.

“They are the infrastructure and technology behind connectivity for travelers across the country,” Bookoff said.

Building customer relationships

Terry Cordell, CEO of TDS, said the partnership strengthens Bustickets.com’s role as a trusted marketplace.

“Bustickets.com has always focused on connecting travelers with dependable transportation,” Cordell said. “Partnering with Busie allows us to modernize the underlying charter experience while staying aligned with the needs of charter bus operators.”

Busie will power the entire charter side of Bustickets.com, replacing static request forms and email-based workflows with a fully digital quoting and booking system. Once trips are booked, operators can dispatch and manage them directly within Busie’s platform.

“We’re creating a single pane of glass for operators — from booking through dispatch,” Bookoff said. “We’re enabling those requests to go to the most relevant operator in the ecosystem and creating a direct relationship between customer and operator.”

The partnership is open to operators across the United States and Canada and is expected to expand further in 2026.

“It’s not exclusive — any operator can be a part of it and receive more demand while controlling the experience customer interactions directly,” Bookoff said.

As group travel demand continues to grow in sports, education, corporate travel and large-scale events, the companies say the new model offers a scalable, operator-first approach.

“We’re reducing intermediaries between the end customer and the operator,” Bookoff said. “This provides a new demand source for charter bus companies across North America, and we’re excited to help companies drive revenue and streamline the right-intent charter operations.”
