OKLAHOMA CITY — Overland Charters has purchased the former Village Travel facility at Interstate 35 and Northeast 50th Street, a move the charter bus company says will expand its operations and improve service.

Owner Kelly Fankhauser said the new site offers prime highway visibility and significantly higher capacity. The facility includes six working bays, a dedicated paint bay and room to accommodate more than 30 buses. It will also become the company’s central hub for dispatch and accounting, a shift Overland Charters says will streamline operations.
“This move represents an exciting new chapter for Overland Charters,” Fankhauser said. “The new location not only provides us with the space and resources to better serve our clients but also strengthens our presence in Oklahoma City.”

With the relocation, Overland Charters now operates facilities in Oklahoma City; Tulsa; Dallas–Fort Worth; Springfield, Missouri; and Wichita, Kansas. The company said the expansion supports its commitment to providing reliable charter transportation across the Midwest.
