Dale Krapf, former chairman of the United Motorcoach Association, has received the Bus Stops Here Award from the Pennsylvania School Bus Association in recognition of his 52 years of leadership in the industry and in his family business, Krapf Group.
Krapf is chairman of the board of directors for Krapf Group, which operates school bus and motorcoach divisions. Krapf was one of the founding members of the PSBA and served as its president from 1984 to 1986. He was chairman of the United Motorcoach Association in 2017 and is a past president of the National School Transportation Association.
The award was presented during the PSBA Annual Convention and Trade Show in June.
The Krapf Group was established in 1942 by George Krapf, Jr., Dale’s father. Dale joined the company full-time in 1967.
