Post-pandemic marketing efforts can be challenging, especially with budget cuts. The Greater New Jersey Motorcoach Association (GNJMA) has an in-person event planned that may be able to help.
GNJMA is hosting the return of its annual Marketplace and Group Leader Appreciation Day on Oct. 7 at Resorts AC in Atlantic City, New Jersey. The Marketplace, one of the largest such events in the East, is returning after the annual event had to be canceled last year due to pandemic restrictions.
The value of the Marketplace is for vendors to showcase their destinations and create new potential client relationships, and for Group Leaders to get ideas for planning day and overnight trips and tours. The association invites travel destination marketing organizations, convention and visitor bureaus, attractions — such as museums, wineries, casinos, restaurants, hotels and more — to attend.
While they have special pricing for GNJMA destination Members, non-members are welcome to register, with slightly higher pricing. This is a great way to meet and greet Group Leaders in one place and showcase your destination. Currently, GNJMA is running a special for Memorial Day. Scheduled time slots
The booths are arranged in a large exhibitor hall, and the association can accommodate special requests for placement. GNJMA also provides a program directory and schedules prearranged arrival time slots for each bus company to tour the exhibit hall. Exhibitors will have the opportunity to meet with hundreds of Group Leaders..
In addition to the marketing information, “freebies” and other materials, the Group Leaders receive door prizes, meal vouchers, free play vouchers (Courtesy of Resorts) and more. The Marketplace is a way for the association’s bus operators to show their appreciation by treating their valued Group Leaders to a day of fun and relaxation.
