Daimler Coaches North America is expanding its presence in the U.S. with the construction of a new state-of-the-art delivery and service center in Jacksonville, Florida.
The 43,700-square-foot facility is a significant investment in the North American market and will support the delivery and maintenance of the Mercedes-Benz Tourrider motorcoach line as well as pre-owned vehicles.

The project reflects Daimler’s commitment to enhancing customer experience through centralized service and premium delivery infrastructure, the company said.
“Building this new facility underlines our continued commitment to the North American market and focus on our customers,” said Dr. Thomas Rohde, President and CEO of Daimler Coaches North America. “It will provide them with a modern environment for the delivery of their Mercedes-Benz Tourrider coaches. We are also showcasing our pre-owned vehicles.”

Install North American components
The new center will feature a 16,000-square-foot maintenance shop, a two-story administration building, and a training and delivery center for customers and service partners. Located west of Interstate 295 on Jones Branch Road, the 11.9-acre site will include more than 100 parking spaces for motorcoaches.
ARCO Design/Build, known for large-scale commercial construction, will lead the facility’s development. Brookwood Capital Partners, a real estate investment firm, is providing funding.

The Mercedes-Benz Tourrider, designed for the North American market, will be delivered from the Jacksonville site. Each vehicle will undergo a comprehensive final inspection at the Pre-Delivery Inspection & Service Center, where North American components, including wheelchair lifts, A/V systems, and 110-volt USB charging ports, will be installed.
Available in business and premium models, the three-axle high-decker Tourrider combines comfort, safety, and luxury features.
The facility is expected to bolster Daimler’s ability to serve its growing North American customer base with advanced support, training, and service.
