UMA leaders discuss the road to EXPO 2021

Just like operators, the United Motorcoach Association (UMA) pivoted during the pandemic to do more with fewer resources to better serve members.

In an interview, UMA Chair Jeff Polzien and CEO Larry Killingsworth reveal to Terrapin Blue’s Ryan Kelly what went on behind the scenes to quickly implement a two-year plan in less than six months to streamline operations. Changes included transforming,  UMA Town Hall and Bus & Motorcoach News to be more responsive to the needs of members.

“I believe what we have done has positioned UMA to be a more effective, more efficient organization for our industry well into the future,” Polzien said.
