Tech solutions: Bring efficiency to your customer meeting scheduling process

Do you find yourself exchanging multiple emails trying to find a time to meet with clients or customers? Do you set a time only to have a customer ask “What time zone is this?” Do you think to yourself, “Gee whiz, in the time we’ve been trying to schedule the meeting, we could have finished the conversation already!” As the saying goes… this meeting could have been an email, but in this case, this email could have been your meeting.

Enter Calendly. Calendly is a tool that integrates seamlessly into your Google, Outlook, Office365, Exchange or iCloud calendar to make it easy for people to schedule meetings with you. It puts you in control of what days of the week or hours of the day you’re available, plus you can set time in between meetings if you don’t like to go back-to-back-to-back on Zoom. It’s an efficient tool for busy bus and motorcoach operators.

When clients, customers (or even friends!), select a time that works for them, it automatically sends a calendar invite with your favorite video conferencing platform included. Plus, it sends reminders so that if something comes up, you’re not waiting on zoom by yourself. Your customer can reschedule without you getting involved at all!

The best part? It’s totally free! See how it works in this video.

I put a link to my Calendly in my email signature and anyone can set up time to meet with me directly. I found that this tool helps me avoid the back and forth associated with busy schedules and makes it convenient for my clients to set, cancel or reschedule their meetings with me. If something changes, I’m automatically notified. A win for everyone… for free!

There are some additional features that you can add on for an upcharge, but the monthly cost for a Pro account is only $10/mo. For employees who are having external meetings, this is a tool that saves time and energy in all the right places.
