When an NFL team needed transportation to Baltimore for a recent game, Starr Bus Charter & Tours offered a new luxury option: a pair of Napaway Premium Coaches.
The team bypassed the usual hassle of airports, cramped seats on charter flights, and the logistical headache of multiple transfers. Instead, they boarded a coach that felt more like a private jet on wheels, with comfort and convenience built into every detail.

Starr’s new Napaway coaches – outfitted with business-class seating that converts into full-flat beds – aren’t just about getting passengers from point A to point B. They offer a seamless, premium travel experience that rivals, and often surpasses, what charter planes provide.
“This is a whole other level of service,” said Pete Borowsky, President of Starr Bus Charter & Tours. “We’ve seen strong demand from clients looking for something beyond traditional offerings. Our coaches deliver that.”
New kind of luxury travel
The partnership between Starr and Napaway Coaches, launched in November, is bringing cutting-edge sleeper coaches to travelers in New Jersey, eastern Pennsylvania, and the greater New York City area.
The collaboration is an opportunity to redefine luxury travel.
“Starr is a forward-thinking, family-run business that does things the right way,” Napaway CEO Dan Aronov said. “We couldn’t be more proud to partner with them. They’re an exceptional company, and we’re confident they’ll be outstanding stewards of the Napaway brand.”

Tours’ Napaway Premium Coaches.
The Napaway Premium Coach features a proprietary seating system that transforms from individual business-class seats to private pods with flat beds. This flexibility caters to a variety of clients, from corporate executives to athletic teams.
Unlike traditional sleeper buses, which were often limited to bunks and minimal amenities, Napaway coaches blend luxury and versatility. They can accommodate up to 36 passengers or sleep up to 18, offering features like individual climate controls, privacy screens, and ample space to stretch out.
“We’ve always been about delivering value and comfort,” Borowsky said. “Napaway lets us do that in a way that’s completely new for our industry.”
For professional sports teams, Napaway’s premium coaches offer clear advantages over charter flights. Plane seats are typically standard with limited legroom, hardly ideal for athletes who need to stay rested before a game.
“A lot of these planes aren’t much better than flying coach on a commercial airline,” Borowsky explained. “They might block the seat next to you, but it’s still tight quarters and uncomfortable.”
With Napaway, teams remain in the same vehicle until they reach their destination, avoiding the need for transfers between buses and planes.
“With the Napaway, you’re in the same space the entire time,” Borowsky said. “You don’t have to get a bus to the airport, wait for the flight, land, and then board another bus. It’s seamless.”
Time savings are another factor. A trip that might take two hours by plane can stretch to six or eight hours when factoring in airport transfers, wait times, and other delays. For journeys in the range of four to eight hours, luxury coaches often emerge as the superior option.
“Once you factor in everything, the bus can actually be faster,” Borowsky said. “And when you add the comfort, it’s a no-brainer.”
Creating new markets
The Napaway partnership is opening new markets for Starr beyond sports teams. The flexibility of the coaches makes them ideal for a range of clients, from corporate travel to touring productions and high-end leisure groups.
“A corporate client might want 18 pods for executives, while a touring production might prefer the 36-seat configuration for their crew,” Borowsky said. “The ability to adapt to different needs is a game-changer.”
While a higher price tag comes with Napaway’s premium product, clients are willing to make the investment.

“This is a premium product, but people feel the difference as soon as they step onboard,” Borowsky said. “It’s a cost they’re willing to pay for the comfort and experience.”
Since its founding in 1947 as a family-run business, Starr has built a reputation for innovation and quality, winning the IMG Operator of the Year award in 2015. The Napaway partnership could represent the next chapter in its legacy.
“This is about more than just luxury,” Borowsky said. “It’s about creating a seamless experience where passengers feel valued and cared for. That’s what we’ve always done, and that’s what we’ll continue to do with Napaway.”
Benefits of exclusivity
By granting exclusive rights to operators like Starr Bus in designated regions, Napaway ensures its premium coaches deliver the same experience wherever they travel.
This network approach also enables flexibility and scalability, allowing operators to collaborate and meet demand for cross-regional trips while reducing inefficiencies like “deadhead” costs.
“Having a strong network of like-minded operators is key to our success,” said Aronov, founder of Napaway. “It allows us to deliver a seamless, premium experience to clients across the country while fostering a collaborative environment among operators.”
Napaway’s exclusivity model also gives Starr a competitive edge. As the only operator of Napaway coaches in its region, Starr can stand apart from its competitors.
“In this market, there’s no one else offering what we do with Napaway,” Borowsky said. “That’s a huge draw for our clients and sets us apart.”
As demand for luxury group travel grows, the Napaway network is poised to expand. Borowsky said the response to Napaway’s coaches has been overwhelmingly positive.
“Once people experience it, they’re hooked,” Borowsky said. “This is the future of group travel.”
