SHUTTO Logistics joins Trailways platform, expanding intercity travel across Texas network

NEW YORK — SHUTTO Logistics has joined the Trailways booking platform, giving travelers access to the Texas-based carrier’s shuttle service between Austin, San Antonio, Dallas, and Houston while expanding connections across the Trailways network.

The partnership allows customers to book SHUTTO-operated routes through Trailways’ website, Canadian website, and mobile app alongside services offered by more than 50 carriers. The companies said the agreement expands travel options within Texas while connecting SHUTTO passengers to Trailways’ broader network of more than 900 destinations across the United States and Canada.

SHUTTO Logistics joined the Trailways booking platform, expanding shuttle service across Texas.

SHUTTO operates 12-passenger Mercedes-Benz Sprinter vans serving the Texas Triangle and The Woodlands. The company positions its service as an alternative for regional trips of less than five hours.

“Texas is one of the most important travel markets in North America, and SHUTTO’s addition strengthens our ability to connect travelers throughout the region and beyond,” Trailways President Alex Berardi said.

Under the partnership, customers can compare schedules from participating carriers, book trips through a single transaction and earn or redeem points through Trailways’ Driven Rewards program. Riders also will receive centralized customer support and real-time travel notifications.

Alberto Salcedo, founder and CEO of SHUTTO Logistics, said the partnership expands the company’s reach while providing travelers with additional connections.

“SHUTTO was created to disrupt and redefine the way people travel between cities,” Salcedo said. “Partnering with Trailways, a true giant in passenger mobility with more than 90 years of history, is a powerful validation that we are moving in the right direction. Together, we believe we can bring the market a smarter, more comfortable, and more connected way to travel.”

Founded in 1936, Trailways is a network of independent motorcoach operators serving more than 900 destinations across the United States and Canada.
