Registration opens for 2022 UMA Motorcoach EXPO

The private bus and motorcoach industry will come together for its most comprehensive North American trade show and convention, UMA Motorcoach EXPO, Feb. 23-26 in Long Beach, Calif.

“Reconnecting” is the theme for the event, which will put the latest over-the-road buses, allied technologies, products and innovative solutions for motorcoaches under one roof.

Owners of private bus and tour companies will gather to learn new ways to upgrade, service and equip their fleets and businesses, increase revenue, and meet new challenges.

Registration for this much-anticipated event is open with special early bird pricing that will allow United Motorcoach Association Operator Members to attend the EXPO for $399 when they register by Nov. 15.

Online registration is available at www.motorcoachexpo.com

“While many of our companies had their fleets parked during the worst of the pandemic, our vendor partners were busy developing new technologies to improve their products and pivot to new consumer priorities,” said Scott Michael, UMA President and CEO. “This EXPO will be a chance to reconnect with these essential business partners, learn what’s new, and use the opportunity to close some deals on new services and equipment.”

The UMA Motorcoach EXPO show floor will be anchored by seven original equipment manufacturers displaying their latest vehicles and advanced onboard technologies. Floor space already is close to 80 percent sold, four months ahead of the event.

In addition to industry education and the trade show floor, Motorcoach EXPO also hosts the UMA International Driver Competition and The UMA Maintenance Competition. Winners of these two events earn cash awards in addition to recognition.

The 2022 UMA Motorcoach EXPO will coincide with the International Motorcoach Group’s annual Maintenance and Safety Meeting.

“For me, UMA EXPO is the one and only way to meet with every vendor associated with this industry,” said EXPO Committee Chair Scott Riccio, owner of Northeast Charter and Tour Company Inc. “It creates ample opportunities to network with friends and colleagues from across the country while enjoying Southern California in February.”
