PBA honors members’ employees with Distinction Awards

The Pennsylvania Bus Association (PBA) recognized four members’ employees as the recipients of
the 2020 Drivers and Employees of Distinction Awards.

These annual awards are usually presented during PBA’s Annual Meeting & Conference in June.
With this year’s annual meeting rescheduled to the fall due to COVID and industry event conflicts, the
recipients were honored at the Oct. 26 luncheon during the annual conference at Wind Creek in
Bethlehem. The luncheon event was sponsored by the Lancaster Tourism Alliance, according to a PBA release.

The recipients, who received plaques, pins and engraved watches, are:

  • Timothy J. Evilsizor, Fullington Trailways – Driver of Distinction Award
  • Christopher J. Maines, Fullington Trailways – Employee of Distinction Award
  • Steve Kern, Bailey Coach  – Driver of Distinction Award
  • Andrew Prawica, Starr Bus Charter & Tours – Driver of Distinction Award

Jonathan Berzas, of Fullington Trailways, Courtney Bailey, of Bailey Coach, and Sandy Borowsky, of Starr Tours, presented the awards.

The Drivers and Employees of Distinction is an annual program that enables bus company members to recognize outstanding employees for contributions to their companies, their passengers, the motorcoach industry and the communities they serve.

The Pennsylvania Bus Association, incorporated in 1923, is a non-profit organization dedicated to representing the business and governmental interests of private bus companies in Pennsylvania.

Its mission also is to promote travel by motorcoach, and to support tour and charter services provided by operator members in cooperation with its travel industry supplier members.
