MMA members gather in Gettysburg to strengthen industry connections

GETTYSBURG, Pa. — The Maryland Motorcoach Association’s 2025 Group Leader Travel Showcase and Operators Meeting brought travel professionals together in historic Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, for a full day of learning, networking, and collaboration.

“This Showcase came at an important time for the motorcoach and group travel industry,” said Mary Presley, executive director of the Maryland Motorcoach Association.

“With travel demand on the rise, this event helped highlight destinations like Gettysburg for future tours, educate operators on new trends and safety updates, and strengthen partnerships between planners, suppliers, and operators.”

The gathering on Sept. 28-30 featured exhibits, workshops, and social gatherings to help members connect and share knowledge. MCI hosted an evening event at the Wyndham Gettysburg, giving attendees the chance to relax and continue conversations in a casual setting.

Scott Michael, president and CEO of the United Motorcoach Association, was a featured speaker. He shared updates on federal policy, new regulations, and advocacy efforts affecting the industry across the country.

“This industry depends on teamwork,” Presley said. “When our members meet, whether in a session or over dinner, that’s when new ideas and partnerships begin.”
