Megabus.com, one of the largest bus companies in North America, is partnering with Peter Pan Bus Lines, one of the largest privately-owned bus companies in the United States to expand service between New York City and New England.
The partnership will allow for expanded service options which will connect New York City with Hartford, Connecticut; New Haven, Connecticut; Providence, Rhode Island; Worcester, Massachusetts and Boston.
The new routes are expected to nearly double the number of weekly trips between New York City and Boston sold on megabus.com.
“This partnership will allow us to expand our growing network once again,” said Linda Burtwistle, CEO of megabus.com, in a statement announcing the partnership. “It’s very exciting to be able to team up with Peter Pan to offer even more travel options to our customers in the new year.”

The announcement comes on the heels of Megabus.com announcing a partnership with Trailways of New York to expand bus service to more than 100 cities throughout New York State.
Megabus.com, part of Coach USA, offers intercity bus service across the Eastern, Southern and Midwestern United States and in the Canadian provinces of Ontario and Quebec. It’s known for offering city-to-city express bus service across North America with fares as low as $1. The company recently introduced real-time tracking on buses, allowing customers to monitor their buses with live departure and arrival times.
Schedules are now available and tickets can be purchased today for travel beginning on Jan. 11 at megabus.com.
