The South Central Motorcoach Association has appointed Mary Presley as its new executive director, the organization says. Presley will continue serving as president of MPresley Group LLC, an association management company specializing in the transportation and motorcoach industry.
Presley brings more than 15 years of management experience and a 25-year record in the motorcoach sector. Her career began as director of sales at a family-owned restaurant and inn, a role that laid the groundwork for her career in transportation.
“Mary’s passion for the motorcoach industry and her commitment to excellence make her the perfect fit for this dual role,” SCMA Board President Cary Martin said. “We are confident her leadership will help us navigate the evolving landscape of motorcoach associations and strengthen SCMA’s mission to support and advocate for our members.”
As executive director, Presley will lead initiatives to promote the interests of motorcoach operators and suppliers in the South Central region, which includes Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Texas. Her goals include boosting member engagement, expanding educational programs, and advocating for policies that benefit the industry.
“I am honored to take on this role and look forward to working collaboratively with SCMA members,” Presley says. “Together, we will strive to elevate our industry, champion best practices, and ensure that motorcoach travel remains a safe, reliable, and enjoyable option for all.”
Presley has participated in numerous industry associations and committees aimed at advancing the motorcoach sector.
