Industry veterans team up to manage TMCA

Two association management veterans are teaming up as the new management team for the Tennessee Motor Coach Association (TMCA).

This week, Mary Presley, of M Presley Group, and Cherie Hime, of CH Association Management, announced their new collaboration, which took effect on Nov. 15.

“We look forward to working with TMCA members and industry partners as they develop new educational programs and increase membership benefits to the organization,” said Presley.

Presley serves as the Executive Director for the Maryland Motorcoach Association, Northwest Motorcoach Association and the National Association of Motorcoach Operators. Hime is the Executive Director of the Midwest Bus & Motorcoach Association.

Founded in 1995, TMCA members benefited from working together in unity. In a short period of time, TMCA has grown to more than 300 members, including operators, suppliers and destinations, and is dedicated to promoting the advantages of group travel by motorcoach and broadening the spectrum of destinations throughout Tennessee and America.

“We have a great President and Vice President. The board just needs direction and encouragement to rebound. The last couple of years have been rough, and the members who have survived are shell-shocked. We are glad you have given TMCA the privilege to bring both of you on board,” said Bill Adams, TMCA Immediate Past President and owner of First Class Charter, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.

Longtime industry veterans, Presley and Hime say they are excited to bring their collective 47 years of industry experience with services and expertise in all areas of association management.

“Together we will provide strategic guidance to boards and volunteers and oversee day-to-day operations, making it possible for their association partners to thrive and achieve their goals,” Hime said.
