DC Trails adds BestBus to its company brand

Thanks to its acquisition by DC Trails of Washington D.C., the online-reservation company BestBus will for the first time offer customers the chance to board motorcoaches owned and operated by the same company.

DC Trails coaches come fully equipped with WiFi, AC outlets at each seat, cup holders, adjustable footrests and other amenities. The company also will continue the guaranteed reservation system and free bottled water for every customer that has become an expected part of BestBus service.
DC Trails, one of the D.C. area’s largest bus companies, currently operates Hop-On, Hop-Off open-top sightseeing buses in Washington D.C., and it offers evening monument tours as well. Most of the company’s business, though, is focused on group tours and chargers, and adding BestBus services to its operations was a logical way to continue its consistent growth, according to DC Trails owners William and Liliana Torres.
“We will continue the brand’s daily runs between stops in Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, Washington DC and New York City and offer affordable, safe, clean, convenient and fully maintained newer coaches,” they said.
DC Trails is additionally in the process of taking delivery of fifteen 2018 VanHool motorcoaches. The company continues to replace older buses with new models to ensure passengers have the comfortable traveling experience they have come to expect when traveling with DC Trails, which currently maintains 70 state of the art motorcoaches and serves routes across the continental United States and Canada with more than 3,200 active and recurring clients.
