WINTER GARDEN, Fla. — ABC Companies will present a fully equipped 2026 Van Hool CX45 and debut a new interactive design experience at the UMA Motorcoach EXPO 2026, scheduled for Feb. 11–14 in Birmingham, Alabama.
The company will exhibit at Booth 132, where attendees can view the updated CX45 coach alongside a virtual showroom highlighting ABC’s vehicle, service, parts, and support offerings. Members of the ABC team, along with representatives from VDL Van Hool, will be available throughout the event to meet with operators, technicians, and industry decision-makers.

The 2026 Van Hool CX45 will be the centerpiece of the exhibit. Updates to the model are aimed at improving safety, driver comfort, and maintenance planning, according to the company. New features include a 360-degree camera system, tire pressure monitoring system, tail-swing detection technology, an updated ergonomic driver seat, and LHP telematics designed to enhance fleet visibility and support data-driven maintenance.
ABC said the updates reflect ongoing collaboration with VDL Van Hool and motorcoach operators, with a focus on improving uptime, reducing operational challenges, and enhancing the passenger experience.
Design Lab a first-time feature
New this year, ABC will introduce its Design Lab at UMA EXPO, allowing attendees to configure and visualize their own Van Hool CX45 with guidance from ABC team members. The interactive experience will give operators an early look at vehicle options before production, supporting fleet planning and purchasing decisions.
VDL Van Hool representatives will also attend the expo, offering operators direct access to manufacturer expertise and insights into CX45 specifications, performance considerations, and long-term fleet strategy.

ABC is also sponsoring the UMA Maintenance Competition, underscoring its emphasis on technician development and maintenance excellence within the motorcoach industry. As part of the competition, Vandalia Bus Lines — a family-owned operator and longtime Van Hool customer — will provide a 2026 CX45 as the official challenge coach for hands-on technician evaluations.
“We’ve stayed with Van Hool because our passengers respond to it and our operation can rely on it,” said Phil Streif, co-owner and vice president of Vandalia Bus Lines. “Over the years, that confidence has been reinforced by our partnership with ABC. They understand our business, support the lifecycle of the coaches, and have been there for us well beyond delivery.”

ABC said industry events such as UMA EXPO are an opportunity to engage directly with operators and technicians to better understand evolving needs across the motorcoach sector.
“Listening to operators, technicians, and drivers helps shape how we think about the next generation of products, services, and support,” said Drew Siciliano, senior vice president of sales and marketing at ABC Companies. “That feedback is critical as we continue redefining what the industry should expect from a long-term partner.”
Founded in 1972, ABC Companies is a family-owned provider of transportation solutions offering vehicles seating eight to 81 passengers, along with parts, service, financing and support for fleet operators across North America.
