The new stop, located at West 33rd Street and 11th Avenue, begins service Friday. It will offer travelers access to West Side destinations, including the High Line, Hudson River Park, the Vessel, the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center, Madison Square Garden, and Chelsea.

Trailways said the addition comes in response to rider demand. The Hudson Yards stop will initially operate with a Friday departure to Hudson Valley locations such as New Paltz,

Rosendale, Kingston, Woodstock and Phoenicia, and a Sunday return trip.

“We’re thrilled to offer our riders a new, convenient option on Manhattan’s West Side,” said Nick Crist, vice president of Trailways of New York. “Whether travelers are visiting the city or escaping for a weekend in the Hudson Valley, this new stop makes the journey easier and more enjoyable.”

Founded in 1936, Trailways operates the largest and oldest network of independent motorcoach companies in North America, with service to more than 900 destinations in the United States and Canada.
