Prevost expands Goodlettsville service center to boost motorcoach maintenance capacity

GOODLETTSVILLE, Tenn. — Bus and coach manufacturer Prevost has expanded its service center in Goodlettsville, increasing capacity for maintenance and repairs of motorcoaches and entertainer fleets.

The project added three offices, 32 parking spaces and six service bays, increasing the facility’s total to 19 bays. Company officials said the additional bays are intended to reduce service turnaround times.

Mike Miguel, the branch manager who oversaw the project, said the expansion was designed to meet customer demand while maintaining the company’s service standards. Miguel has worked for the company for 18 years.

The new service bays are now operational. A ribbon-cutting ceremony is planned for April.

Kevin Dawson, the company’s vice president of commercial operations, said the Goodlettsville project is part of Prevost’s broader expansion plans for 2026 aimed at increasing service capacity and aligning resources with customer demand.

The company said it also plans to relocate its facility in Franklin Park, Illinois, to Elk Grove Village, Illinois, in June and add a mobile service unit in Las Vegas.

In addition, Prevost said construction on a new facility in Randleman, North Carolina, is expected to begin in spring 2026, with the location scheduled to open in early 2027.

Prevost manufactures touring coaches and specialty conversion vehicles and operates service centers across North America. The company’s manufacturing facilities are located in Sainte-Claire, Quebec.

Prevost is part of the Volvo Group, which produces trucks, buses, construction equipment and industrial power systems.
