Prevost has appointed John Busskohl as its new West Coast regional commercial director, the company announced.

Busskohl brings more than three decades of experience in the motorcoach industry. He began his career at Arrow Stage Lines, a company founded by his grandfather, where he was general manager. After Arrow Stage Lines was acquired, he joined Coach USA as vice president of the west region, then led sales and marketing for Coach America before moving into the transit sector.
He later gained experience on the vendor side with ABC Companies and in transportation technology sales for buses and trains. Despite exploring other areas of transportation, Busskohl said he always felt drawn back to his motorcoach roots.
“I’m humbled to be working for Prevost,” Busskohl said. “The people are top-notch, and the culture is really healthy. This role lets me stay close to the industry I love and continue building relationships with so many great people I’ve met over the years.”
Busskohl officially joined Prevost on Oct. 20. He holds a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from Iowa State University and plans to relocate to California in the coming weeks.
