WASHINGTON — The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration will hold a public meeting May 9 in Washington, D.C., to help electronic logging device manufacturers understand and produce ELDs that are compliant with the agency’s mandate.
The meeting will be held at 9:30 a.m. Eastern time at the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Media Center, 1200 New Jersey Ave. SE. Call 202-366-0991 for registration.
“This meeting is intended to address questions received from ELD manufacturers and to review the required standardized output and standardized data sets,” defined in the ELD rule’s technical specifications, FMCSA said.
