Motor Coach Industries (MCI), a subsidiary of NFI Group Inc. (NFI), has announced promotions aimed at enhancing customer support in the Mid-Atlantic region. Steve Weiss has been promoted to Vice President of New and Pre-Owned Coach Sales for the Mid-Atlantic Region, while Eddie Moreno will take over Weiss’s former role as NFI Regional Parts Manager.
“With the recovery of the new-coach market, we are restoring our sales team to full capacity,” said Tom Wagner, Vice President of Private Sector Sales at MCI. “Steve Weiss’s established regional relationships and extensive technical knowledge make him an ideal fit to support our J-Series and D-Series coach operators in the Mid-Atlantic.”
Weiss, who has been with NFI Parts since 2015, will manage sales in Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, Virginia, Washington, and Pennsylvania. His tenure at NFI Parts has been marked by significant business development and product line expansion.
Rising within the company
Eddie Moreno, who joined the company in 2016, has been promoted to succeed Weiss as NFI Regional Parts Manager. Moreno’s career at MCI began as a warehouse associate in Blackwood, New Jersey, and he most recently managed the NFI parts warehouse in East Brunswick, New Jersey.
