The Greater Northeast Motorcoach Association announced that Matt Maglio has been elected to the organization’s board of directors.
Maglio is regional vice president for Region 1 at Greyhound Lines, where he oversees operations, safety and performance across one of the company’s largest and most complex regions.

Association leaders said Maglio’s experience in transportation operations and safety leadership will strengthen the board and support the organization’s membership.
Before assuming his current role, Maglio was a safety director, developing programs focused on driver performance, regulatory compliance and accident reduction. His background in safety management has remained a central part of his leadership approach.
During his tenure at Greyhound, Maglio has led efforts to improve on-time performance, maintenance reliability and key performance indicators across his region. His team, known internally as “Team North Beast,” has earned recognition for operational performance and reliability.
Maglio is also vice chair of the American Bus Association’s Bus Industry Safety Council, where he works with industry leaders and regulators on safety standards and best practices. He is a frequent speaker at industry conferences and events, addressing topics including operational safety and driver fatigue management.
In addition to his operational leadership, Maglio is known for mentoring employees and developing leadership talent. His leadership philosophy emphasizes accountability, communication and workforce development.
