ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. — The Greater Northeast Motorcoach Association will bring motorcoach operators, suppliers, tourism partners and group travel professionals together Sept. 29-Oct. 1 for its 2026 fall meeting and 45th anniversary celebration.
The three-day event at Tropicana Atlantic City will feature educational programs, networking opportunities, safety training and professional development.
The meeting begins Sept. 29 with GNEMA’s annual golf outing at Blue Heron Pines Golf Club. Proceeds will support the association’s scholarship program. The outing will conclude with the “Toast to Tommy” Dugan 19th Hole gathering.
Professional motorcoach drivers will demonstrate their safety knowledge and driving skills during the GNEMA driver safety competition on Sept. 30 at Harrah’s Atlantic City. Winners will be recognized later that day during the association’s annual meeting and luncheon.
The meeting will also include organizational updates, scholarship presentations and a keynote address by former Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Ron “Jaws” Jaworski, a longtime business and community leader.
Times to get together
GNEMA’s vendor mini-marketplace will give operators an opportunity to meet with companies that provide products and services to the motorcoach industry.
The association will celebrate its anniversary Sept. 30 with a Meet & Mingle at Boogie Nights at Tropicana. The 1980s-themed event will feature music, networking and a best-dressed competition in recognition of GNEMA’s founding in 1981.
Programming on Oct. 1 will include a GNEMA board of directors meeting, the Bus Industry Safety Council East meeting and luncheon, and Group Leader Appreciation Day & Marketplace.
BISC East will offer discussions about motorcoach safety and industry best practices. The group leader marketplace will connect travel suppliers and destinations with group leaders and travel buyers.
“As we celebrate 45 years, this event is a great reflection of what GNEMA is all about — bringing people together, supporting our industry and creating opportunities for our members,” GNEMA Executive Director Patricia Cowley said.
GNEMA represents motorcoach operators and industry partners throughout the Northeast. The association promotes safety, education, advocacy, networking and business development for the motorcoach and group travel industries.
