WASHINGTON — Motor carriers needing assistance with registration, operating authority or safety-related issues can contact the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration’s Registration Contact Center for help with a range of services.
The contact center provides assistance with U.S. Department of Transportation and Motor Carrier docket numbers, licensing and insurance, USDOT PINs, FMCSA Portal access and driver medical fitness inquiries.
The center also handles questions related to the Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse, the National Registry of Certified Medical Examiners and other FMCSA medical programs.
Motor carriers experiencing registration issues with the Motus system should use the FMCSA Registration Contact Center, which is working to resolve reported technical problems. FMCSA said inquiry volume is higher than normal.
