Jenna McLoughlin’s journey from leading transformative technology at Cisco to shaping autonomous strategies at Lyft has led her to a pivotal role in Flix North America’s drive to revolutionize intercity bus travel.
As the company’s newly appointed vice president of business development, McLoughlin will drive the company’s mission of making bus travel a top choice for long-distance transportation.
McLoughlin was appointed this month by Flix North America Inc., the parent company of FlixBus and Greyhound.
She will oversee the expansion of the FlixBus partner network, focusing on strengthening partnerships while building new collaborations, and aligning teams to extend the company’s reach. She will report to CEO Kadir “Kai” Boysan.
“Jenna brings extensive experience in driving growth through strategic partnerships, and her leadership will be instrumental as we expand our network and continue to transform the intercity bus industry through technology and our innovative business model,” Boysan said.
McLoughlin’s career has been defined by her ability to marry technology with strategy.
When she was at Cisco, McLoughlin worked on Internet of Things initiatives. That experience laid the groundwork for her focus on disruptive solutions. At Lyft, she held senior roles such as leading autonomous strategy while developing emerging verticals.
Her appointment makes McLoughlin the fifth new executive to join Flix North America’s senior leadership team this year, alongside Scott MacDonald as chief financial officer, Karina Frayter as head of communications, James Bristow as general counsel, and Rodney Surber as chief operating officer of Greyhound.
