SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. — Campbell Bus Lines has reached a milestone few family-owned motorcoach operators achieve, taking delivery of its 100th motorcoach from Prevost during a ceremony at the manufacturer’s Quebec factory.
The delivery was celebrated on June 23 at Prevost’s facility in Sainte-Claire, Quebec, where co-owner Todd Campbell participated in the company’s “Ring the Bell” tradition, marking the completion of the vehicle and commemorating the partnership between the manufacturer and its customers.
Campbell Bus Lines, based in Slippery Rock, Pennsylvania, was founded in the 1970s by Gerald and Janet Campbell to serve rural communities in western Pennsylvania. Their sons, Todd and Art Campbell, expanded the company into the motorcoach market in the 1990s and now operate Campbell Tours and TLC Tours.

Prevost President François Tremblay said the milestone reflects the Campbell family’s long-term commitment to the brand.
“Reaching 100 Prevost coaches is no ordinary accomplishment,” Tremblay said. “It is a testament to the family’s extraordinary vision and trust in our brand.”
Todd Campbell credited the factory employees who build the coaches and the support network that helps keep them on the road.
“The Prevost Customer Support Team is a huge part of why we buy Prevost,” Campbell said. “The Volvo D13 motor, the ride quality, the entire product. But it’s how you support it and stand behind it for the next 10 to 15 years that really makes the difference.”
Campbell became a Prevost customer in 2014 and has expanded its fleet with the manufacturer over the past decade.
During the ceremony, Campbell also acknowledged the role of his parents and employees in the company’s growth.
“None of this exists without our parents,” he said. “Everything we’ve built started with them. And it doesn’t run without our employees. For more than 50 years, their hard work and dedication are what have carried this company.”
Prevost officials said the company’s bell-ringing tradition allows customers to recognize the work of factory employees and celebrate the completion of their vehicles before delivery.
