Brent Maitland named CEO of All Aboard America Holdings

Brent Maitland has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of All Aboard America Holdings Inc. (AAAHI), now the second-largest motorcoach operator in the United States.

Maitland brings more than 20 years of strategic, operational, and customer-focused transportation experience to his new role. He joins AAAHI following a 19-year career at Motor Coach Industries (MCI), a subsidiary of NFI Group, where he most recently served as vice president of private sector sales and marketing.

The leadership change follows the promotion of former AAAHI CEO Graeme Legh to CEO of parent company Kelsian Group.

“Brent’s experience in both the global commercial vehicle market and the U.S. motorcoach industry offers a unique vantage point to lead AAAHI through evolving market demands and expansion efforts,” Legh says.

Industry experience

During his time at MCI, Maitland oversaw the company’s largest division, managing more than $300 million in revenue and leading commercial strategy, customer engagement, and brand integration initiatives. He has served on the boards of the American Bus Association and the National Limousine Association and is a former board member of the United Motorcoach Association. Maitland holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Michigan.

“Brent’s career is defined by his ability to foster alignment across diverse teams and build scalable strategies that deliver both profitability and purpose,” Legh says.

Maitland’s appointment also builds on a long-standing relationship between AAAHI and MCI. Nearly 250 MCI vehicles are part of AAAHI’s fleet. AAAHI has operations spanning 16 locations and a network of regional subsidiaries.

Maitland, who starts his new role in June, says he is honored to join the organization.

“Throughout my career, I have built trusted relationships with the AAAHI operating companies, who are respected for their leadership, customer excellence, and safety cultures,” Maitland says. “These strong regional brands are under excellent stewardship with the AAAHI team, whom I have worked with as both a customer and industry colleague. I look forward to strengthening support while empowering our local operations to continue delivering exceptional service.”

More executive changes

AAAHI also has announced several other executive promotions and appointments.

Shawn Davis has been promoted to Chief Operating Officer-Charter Operations. Under Davis’ leadership as general manager and vice president of ACE Express Coaches, the AAAHI subsidiary’s revenue nearly doubled over the past three years.

Terry Kin has been named Chief Information Officer and Chief Operating Officer-Employee Shuttle Operations. Kin will continue to oversee the company’s IT team while expanding AAAHI’s employee shuttle services.

Trisha Fridrich will transition to vice president of marketing and communications, focusing on digital strategy, sales, recruitment, and safety initiatives.

Casey Collier has joined AAAHI as vice president of business development. Collier helped establish Lux Bus America’s Northern California operations.

All Aboard America Holdings operates a fleet of more than 1,000 vehicles and employs over 1,500 team members across California, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, Colorado, Louisiana, and Mississippi. Since 2012, AAAHI has grown through the acquisition of market-leading regional brands, many of which were generational family businesses.
