Robert Giles, 65, a much-loved husband, father, grandfather and friend, passed away at his home in Spokane, Washington, Feb. 19.
Giles was co-owner of Alpha Omega Tours & Charters, but his long career started as a driver for Metro Transit in Bellevue. He continued driving for a transit company, and eventually motorcoaches, in Spokane and after many years of driving and dispatching bought into the company that operates 17 motorcoaches for tours and charters. In lieu of flowers, the family was asking for donations to Washington Basset Rescue (wabr.net) in honor of Bob’s beloved dog, Buster.
