The Alabama Motorcoach Association has named Mary Presley, executive director of M Presley Group LLC, as its new executive director, the organization announced.
Presley moves into the leadership role with a background in supporting motorcoach associations nationwide and developing member-focused industry programs.
“Mary understands what operators need and how to deliver it,” said Alan Thrasher, president of Thrasher Brothers Trailways and past chairman of the United Motorcoach Association. “Her ability to bring people together and move initiatives forward will make an immediate impact on our association and the members we serve.”
The Alabama Motorcoach Association represents motorcoach operators, suppliers and tourism professionals across the state. The association provides advocacy, professional development and networking opportunities for members in the group transportation industry.
In her new role, Presley will focus on increasing member engagement, expanding partnerships and developing programs aimed at supporting operators and industry stakeholders throughout Alabama.
The association said Presley’s appointment marks a step forward as the organization works to strengthen Alabama’s motorcoach industry and respond to changes in the travel and transportation landscape.
The Alabama Motorcoach Association promotes safety initiatives, education and collaboration among motorcoach operators and industry partners. Members are expected to maintain standards for safety, professionalism and ethical business practices.
