Scott Robertson rejoins MCI as director of service centers

Scott Robertson has rejoined Motor Coach Industries as director of service centers.

Leveraging his 20+ years of industry experience, Robertson will lead the operations of six MCI service centers and one heavy-duty collision repair center across North America.

Robertson first joined MCI Service Parts in 2011 and held many roles, including pricing manager, engineering manager, head of marketing, director of the supply chain, and director of product management. In 2017, he transitioned to NFI Parts and quickly advanced to vice president of customer service before briefly leaving the organization in early 2022 to join a heavy construction equipment dealer.

In his new role, he’ll report directly to Vice President, of Customer Care, New Flyer and MCI, Scott Halbesma.

“We value Scott’s outstanding skills and knowledge of the private sector coach market, and we are excited to welcome him back to our team,” said Halbesma. “Leveraging his in-depth industry expertise coupled with a strong technical and leadership background, Scott has what it takes to lead our service organization to continue the reliability-driven support our customers expect.”

Robertson will lead the expansion of the service center network, starting with two service centers opening in the next year: MCI’s service center in Los Angeles, California, announced in January 2023; and in Seattle, Washington, which is expected to open in early 2024.
